This 4-month course invites you into a guided practice of observing, understanding, and living in rhythm with your cycle. We meet once a month for a 2-hour live online session. Between the calls, you will track your cycle daily and, if you wish, receive personal feedback on your charts. The course combines biological understanding with embodied self-research.
Sensiplan Method:
The course is based on the Sensiplan method (sympto-thermal fertility awareness). You will learn to observe basal body temperature and cervical mucus, and optionally cervix position, apply the double-check evaluation rules, and determine fertile and non-fertile days for reliable contraception or conception, without the side effects of artificial hormones.
Menstrual Body Positive Literacy:
An essential part of the course is menstrual body-positive literacy: understanding and relating to our body’s signals with knowledge, curiosity and compassion. Including its cycles, changes, and diversity. We will explore the biology of the menstrual cycle, body-identical hormones, signs of hormonal imbalance, and other contraception methods. You will learn how to observe and document physical signs, sensations, and cyclical changes in energy, focus, and creativity, using your own body as a field of research.
Limited to 5 participants. Apply here. Applications close latest on April 6th.
Are you interested in joining but have questions or do you want to explore together whether this practise fits your body, sent me an email.
Note: The Sensiplan learning materials used in this course were written for and addressed to cis women who menstruate, and during the course we use the handbook in its original form. At the same time, not all people who menstruate are women, and not all women menstruate. I share this knowledge with an awareness of this diversity and aim to make it accessible to women, girls, and all people who menstruate.
If paying the low(er) income fee is not possible, please reach out. Instalment payments are possible.
*10% of the earnings from this course goes to organisations supporting menstrual equity and justice: Perioden-System, providing menstrual and hygiene products in housing for people in need in Germany. And Ecofemme, menstrual health education and access to free or affordable cloth pads in Tamil Nadu, South India.
Next to the Natural & Safe handbook and workbook to practise the Sensiplan method, you will receive optional deepening material on menstrual health, menstrual justice, and body literacy.

"I was fortunate to discover fertility awareness at the age of 20. What began as a reliable, hormone-free contraception method soon became a way to understand the intelligence of my body and the rhythms it follows. With each cycle, my knowledge — and my trust in my body’s signals — grew. For me, tracking cycles has become a resource for everyday life and being in this world."
I am passionate about living aligned with cyclical rhythms, especially in supporting menstruating people make informed choices about their fertility and learn that reliable contraception is possible without the side effects of hormonal methods. Through my work, I aim to promote menstrual equity and menstrual justice. I am a white, able-bodied person, socialised as female. I identify as woman, while curious about exploring my place on the queer spectrum.
Originally trained as a Sensiplan counselor in the Netherlands (2021) and now based in Germany, I teach in English. I have also trained with Red School (Menstrual Cycle Awareness) and Pantarei Approach (Bodywork). As a visual artist with a background in design (Design Academy Eindhoven), cyclical rhythms continue to inspire my practice.
